Rampart County Fire Department (RCFD) was started in 2014 as a standby provider for special events,  motion picture, and TV industry. In January of 2020 RCFD is now looking to become a privately owned full service fire provider in Arizona. RCFD is a privately owned and operated fire services provider in Arizona, with its board of directors as its governing body.

Notice: There is no Rampart County anywhere in the US. The name of the company was created by the founder of the company. The company was named after the tv show Emergency. The original name, Rampart, was from the hospital in the show called Rampart General.

The Founder wanted to come up with something that gave homage to an important part of his past that he grew up watching and what inspired him to work in the emergency medical field, as well as where he grew up.  The founder was born and raised in California, his father was an LA Sheriffs Deputy, his mom was a nurse at a local LA hospital, and he grew up on Emergency and Adam-12 reruns. This notice is to make sure there is no misunderstanding about this company nor the reason it was formed.
